Responsibilities for the Electrical Engineer
• Conduct electrical design and engineering support to microgrid projects
• Collect site specific information to support energy analysis and DER integration
• Evaluate site backup power infrastructure and develop DER integration approaches
• Design distributed energy resource and energy storage projects
Requirements for the Electrical Engineer
• 0 years of electrical engineering experience releated to distributed energy systems
• At minimum, candidates must have a BSEE, although a MS is preferred
• Ability to develop single line diagrams, construction drawings, and equipment specifications
• Experience with Utility interconnection requirements for generation equipment, Electrical system protection, Building electrical infrastructure, Emergency backup power systems, PV and Inverter modeling a
